“Justice must be a policy that the lawyer must not forget against the letter of the positive law, that in some cases does not grasp the created problem”
On 11th February 1871 Don Enrique Ramos Marín inscribed himself in the College of Law of Malaga becoming with the passage of time one of the outstanding lawyers of the province, and his practice one of the most prestigious of the City, to which his son, Don Enrique Ramos Puente, joined in 1909.
Both, father and son continued with brilliance their chosen path specializing in Civil, Mercantile and Administrative law. After the death of Sr. Ramos Marín, his son, Sr. Ramos Puente continued, with the same vision and efficiency as always, until, the end of the Spanish Civil War, a new generation joined the practice, the sons of Sres. Ramos Guerbos joined first by his children Agustín and Enrique. Enrique left the profession for commercial activity, and later his son, Manuel Ramos Guerbos, joined the practice.
With the course of time the practice expanded but always staying within its original area of expertise, Civil, Mercantile and Administrative Law, with a national and foreign client base.
Following the death of Don Enrique Ramos Puente, his sons Agustín and Manuel continued in the practice, until the death of Agustín, gave way to the incorporation of the fourth generation María Ramos Guille, daughter of Agustín, and María Victoria and Manuel Ramos Arrenberg, children of Manuel, and also Francisca Ramos Arrenberg as a solicitor and barrister.
It was constituted, therefore, the present Legal Practice integrated by the last member of the third generation, Don Manuel Ramos Guerbos and the components of the fourth. An office that, endorsed by an uninterrupted period of 132 years in the practice of law and retaining the knowledge acquired by each generation, has adapted and modernised in accordance with the demands of the prevailing times.
The Ramos Legal Firm continues with the same vitality and efficiency in the practice of law, standing out by its seriousness and formality in the practice on its matters and its attention to clients, as well as the respect of members of the legal profession.
The practice is an emblematic office, the building being the property of the family, located in Calle Madre de Dios. A fabulous construction of classic style, furnished with period furniture that in spite of its antiquity of 132 years, are maintained in a perfect state, with a superb library in which true legal relics lie. Among them a collection of Supreme court decisions dating from the year 1853.
